Pieces...
the entire piece...
Sitting down friday night, and babe wanting to paint with "Mama" paints, I knew I was ready to start playing again. I have these long pieces of cardboard that I know would make great long scenes, and I really needed to paint in color! I am so tired of being frazzled, blue, busy, tired... When I sit down to paint, it has to be colorful. My inner happy coming out! I hope you enjoy and my happy land painting gives you a smile!
linking here for the first time!
This is a beautiful piece! I love the colors and the houses.....so creative!
ReplyDeleteSp pretty and whimsical! I'm glad you started painting again.
ReplyDeleteUm, yeah. So so so FAB!!! We really do love a lot of the same things - I'm so into color at the moment too - big, bold color. For some reason, subtle color has lost it's appeal since the Summer . . . I'm also so into those vintage characters hidden in there and your swirly lollypop flowers - you are a girl after my own heart. AND I love the long strip of cardboard too - it is so unique and cool and should definitely be in a magazine (hint, hint ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you too for your sweet condolences, it means a lot, xoxoxo
Oh! And I'm gonna start with PPF too! I was hoping for this Friday but since it's Kendra's birthday tomorrow (and party Sat) I doubt that I will make it - but I'm all over it in Oct . . . glad to have someone to play with!!
I am really happy to see you painting again. Your inner whimsy coming out. This is so fun and fabulous. So many details. I love all of it. It definitely makes me smile. I always love how you use whatever you have on hand to paint on. That makes it even more magical. Hope all is well.
