happy moment do always seem to sneak up on you

don'tcha think?

here is a happy moment I captured recently.  She was having a sweet moment.

and silly...

These were a couple weeks ago as some may notice. P now has a little 20s bob!  It's cute!   But I keep seeing these and can't get enough. They just make me smile.

The Bob. Today. Children's Museum!

Now, I will let you know.  I have been working on a couple projects that make me pretty happy.  I will share... like probably really soon!  And, I am working on something else exciting to share...uh, probably soon!  So stay tuned.

And I am figuring out how to deal with this babe we call Miss P.  Keep her busy.  As much as I want to stay home and art (yup art...as a verb!),  I have to get this lady out!  So, this is what I'm trying to get better at, and more consistent with.  And it works.  This kid after an outing even lets me work, and will chill.  Then sisters come home, and it's time to keep up with the big girls, usually with lots of screaming and attitude.  ...I need to remember her needs though. And when her needs are met, my needs are somewhat  taken care of as well. ...I am still counting down till Kindergarden.  Two years and three months to go!!!

  2. Love these shots...and cite hair..i had all my hair chopped yesterday...lots of it...my dayswith the twins and Connor before pre kindergarten were spent like a preschool...busy arty crafty singing dancing days...everyday i would have planned activities for them. this was a blessing in the end as they were very behind with language due to prematurity ...and it kept me feeling like a was a good mum...lol ...keep doing what you're doing ....i can hear the happy in your words...xxx

  3. Such adorable pictures! She has the cutest smile and that hair is perfect. I absolutely know what you mean about keeping the little busy. I am glad my little guy like to "art" so I can fit some time for me. :) Hang in there...two years and counting!

  5. I am excited to hear more about your big projects. I love the stuff that you post. I'm taking my boys to the park today, so that they can play and run off some of their energy.

  6. I love her little bob! I'm scared to try a different haircut with Avery- I like her hair now, and wouldn't be able to forgive myself if we cut it and I didn't like it! But then I see a cute bob like this and I reconsider!!

I can relate about having the youngest one home. Lately I feel completely lost as to how to keep Avery busy while her brothers are at school. At least summer's coming, and they can keep her occupied for a while, but of course summer comes with an entirely different set of parenting problems!!

  8. lovely pictures, Daniele! Yeah, I have to remember my girlie likes to go places, do things, see things. I'm used to her brother not wanting to go ANYWHERE, EVER.
