Sunday Sketch

I've decided to try something new and, for the second week in a row, to spend 20 minutes on Sundays doing a simple face sketch.  I adored my sketch last week, and I thought I'd give it a new go this week. This angle is hard for me, but one must practice to get better.  I will probably end up painting these, but for now, here is my second sunday sketch, and linking up to Sunday Sketches!~

  14. I love this sketch and took some time to go back thru your posts, as I have been terribly busy of late and haven't had time to visit my lovelies. Wonderful sketches and much hoorahs for the new creative space...yippeeee, having work space is quite grand. I adore all your lovely works of art and saw the groovy couple under the tree in the background of one of your posts. Love it!!! Being busy is no fun when time for art, gets squeezed out...pooey!!! I miss you dearest and hope that your summer is bliss-filled. I still hope to make a trade with you, perhaps in July? I will try to get a head start, since I have been so slowmo at it lately! :) Any thoughts, theme ideas?? Biggest hugs! Can't wait to see you this Fall! Yippee!!!

  19. We have similar blog names! I liked your "about" intro. OK, I'm addicted to Diet Coke too but limit myself to 1 per day or I am FLYING! You have a lovely blog here. I tried to click on Mixed Media and Photography and your image mapping isn't working on those =(

Congrats on all the many times you've been published!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I would have replied direclty, but you are set up as a no-reply blogger (even though you have your email under Contact). If you'd like to change those settings, you can find the solution HERE on my old blog.

  20. What a lovely sketch! I struggle so much with drawing faces, especially the noses. I always enjoy seeing how other artists create these features, and try to emulate them.

Thanks for all of your supportive comments on my blog! I have enjoyed the opportunity to get to know you and your work! In addition, I think you should definitely continue with your scrapping, and a weekly or monthly blog challenge would be so much fun! Would love to see more of your memory art!
