a little peak...

This week, I am doing a little series of canvases, four, that are all to be grouped together when done.  I painted the first one today, and...made a video!  So, now, I don't know what to do with the video!!!  Another thing for me to learny learn!    This was sparked by a challenge, I may or may not submit, and I will show a little piece of it everyday, and on Friday, our favorite day, I will show you them all, and hopefully a fun video too!

here is the peeky peek!

I was so much more free-form today and I loved it.  I was sloppy and not to concerned about perfection and details.  I love the outcome so much more than my last painting, and I spent very little time in comparison!  I think Mindy is in my head, and I am just getting myself ready to paint like a child.

Happy Evening, and wish me luck with putting together my video!

oh, a little bit of fun info... I will be adding stryofoam cups to this collection!  Yay for garbage!

  4. I can't wait to see more. I have been collecting bits of this and that instead of recycling or trashing them, just so that I can use stuff in my projects. Thanks for the inspiration!

  11. Hello Daniele!
your comment moved me. I'm glad to meet you. I have two young daughters and I live in France (in Corsica island) and then excuse my mistakes in English!
I love your style too. I saw that you have been published several times in Somerset, Is there
a method to be published (project Submission?)

  13. This looks so pretty! Have you ever looked at Anne Grgich's work? Your piece reminds me of her work, with the layers in the face. You should check her out if you haven't before...

You asked if I'm still working on the kids' books. Well, slowly. I've done a couple pieces for Avery that I'll post soon. I haven't done any for the boys lately -I'm still considering different options for continuing, since I'm not as into it as I used to be... yet I still feel the need to do SOMETHING!
