Project 365 week1

I have decided to join many others in this project to better my photography, and to push my limits.  I am going manual now, and I have visions of what I want my photography to look like, but I it's not there.  This is ok with me, because it will evolve, and become what it is and will be.

I will post this project every Saturday, and leave the rest of the week for everything else!

So, off to a slow start, but here a some from this week.

This year I have embarked on a journey to return to fitness. This is something I have always valued, but that past two years have had different demands, and the butt has grown!  Aside from a larger rear, I just don't like being unfit. It is really important to me to feel lean, strong, flexible, and full of zest.  I have made the commitment to myself to not let life get in my way another minute.  For me, mixing my need for fitness with my love of art journaling is ideal.  So, I joined Jenny Doh's Crafting Fitness ecourse and am having a great time with it.

I layered this photo in Elements with a texture from Kim Klassenpsingear!  I love her textures!

I love these little crawlers.  They are way too cute, and their butts wiggle as they crawl.  If ever I am grumpy, I just wind these up! They make out whole house giggle...well, maybe not the father!

ugh, and here is the seriously under exposed original. I am actually liking this saturated bright, a little fake, look because it is just happy to me! I used another Kim Klassenpsingear texture here. Matteo is wearing Paige's jacket and she is wearing a Halloween costume on this frigid day!

My homeschooling girl getting ready for school to start again. I was taking a few of her working and she looked up and I got this! Oh love.

I am linking up to a couple of Project 365 blogs.

I don't know why I couldn't get their buttons to work, but this will do, I hope!

  3. That last one is so cute. The texture is perfect for it.

I don't think the bright saturation on the tunnel picture is fake at all. But then again that is how a lot of my photography is. :)

I think, it really improved the picture a lot and the crop makes a big difference.
